Below is a very partial list of Dan’s House clients over the past ten years. I’ve removed links since so many are out-of-date, but if you’d like an updated link for your band’s entry, please email me with the info.
Needless to say, a lot of these bands/artists are defunct/have moved on/reconfigured/etc. Some, like the UltimateWarriors/Gatecrashers/Pissed Jeans continuum, have evolved through different styles and lineups over the years. The Ultimate Warriors first approached me in ‘98 - just kids in school - and as Pissed Jeans, now have a Dan’s House album on Sub Pop Records.
Many have simply broken up after recording their first album, while a core group of artists have kept producing fresh material with admirable tenacity, year after year. Some have produced quickie demos in a few hours, while others have spent months - even years - on painstakingly perfectionist recordings.
Some are nationally known musicians, like Jim Weider (who played with The Band for years) and Arlen Roth, while many aren’t know beyond the confines of their home town. All are held in equal regard by me - my business would not be what it is today without everyone’s participation.
You’ll find bands, individual musicians, corporate clients, and record labels all listed below. If you worked here, and aren’t listed but wish to be, let me know.
